Smart Cookie RN, LLC and Loving Hearts, LLC have come together to offer Personal Care Aide (PCA) classes.
​
The Personal Care Aide Training Course is designed to teach students how to safely and efficiently provide assistance to clients who have mobility and/or orientation issues, clients who are fall risks, and clients who have medical conditions such as seizures, diabetes, dementia and etc. in order to keep them in their home as long as possible and avoid nursing home placement.

Personal care aides (PCAs)typically do the following:​

Assist clients in their daily personal tasks, such as bathing or dressing​​

Perform housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, washing dishes, and vacuuming​​

Help to organize a client’s schedule and plan appointments​​

Arrange transportation to doctors’ offices or other outings​​
-
Shop for groceries and prepare meals to meet a client’s dietary specifications​​
-
Keep clients engaged in their social networks and communities
